Chronically ill?** **You're still a fucking witch.** It's the autumn equinox, which means we are tumbling into the dark half of the year. It's so important that we be kind to ourselves, go easy on ourselves as we get into that time where the sun sets earlier, and earlier, and earlier; to form communities, to build loving relationships with other people, but also with ourselves. I'm disabled. And sometimes under late-stage capitalism, that makes me feel like I am not enough. A PhD candidate at St. Francis Xavier University, their research explores anti-ableist pedagogy, disability justice, and teacher education. Jasmin is a co-founder of the Disabled Educators' Curriculum Collective (DECC) and is a member of several disability activist groups in her community. Their evolving witchcraft practice draws on pre-Christian European (Dutch, Bavarian, Hungarian) roots.
