To celebrate the Spring Equinox of 2026 we invited the Missing Witches Coven to write and read spell poems, and we gathered together to conjure the magics of poetry, of protection, abundance and ease, to empower the powerless and bring conscience to the conscious-less.

We hope that these rhymes will become mantras we can sing in our heads at night to replace the intrusive thoughts, the fear. This is our spell, to be transmitted across the waves and webs, to reach your ears and soothe you, to reach your heart and rile you, to experience the magic of becoming.

### We invite you, today, to write your own spell poem, a rhyme for the chaos, words for the wise.

## Happy Vernal Equinox!! Happy Ostara!

## Missing Witches Epic Spell Poem 2026

Happy Ostara.
Happy Equinox.
This episode is a spell.

Ostara, Ostara…

oh. Tide of Springtime, hear me now.
Slipping into Dreams at Sleep's Edge,
I am calling down the long tunnel of what can.
Come dancing.
Ones come Flying Slither Kin and roots, old green crones, babies crying, a new song at our throats.
Everything is sideways, all asunder, but the truth is on the air like rain and it shutters
Fear and Wonder Spring is come.
Again.

Together we travel to collect the nectar.
We laugh, cry, and implore the weather.
We ride to the tower in crowns of softness, shining light, and embracing the darkness.
Mutual thriving transmutation of the surviving
It eclipses activating shadow material
work guided by power's, ethereal,
attuned, and tethered by the inner bell.
Carrying the cosmos in every cell light as a feather, heavy.
As a brick.
All mind bodies welcome the greedy are sick, tossed across this threshold,
landing softly on daisies and marigold medicines of herbs and aloe Vera
always and forever. We miss you, Terra.
Some things we keep, some we bury.
Let us accept what is believe in the fairy.
Honoring all wombs.
Entering the goddess tombs with borrowed keys,
whispers with the witness.
Trees becoming rare beyond mythical joy like a wildfire doing away the trauma.
Cyclical magic in the mundane.
Your morning cup of tea, no one is free until we are all free.
More than an ingredient.
We are the whole potion.
Our will is strong.
The plan in motion.
Highest good harm to none.
Our will said and done.

Ostara, ostara. The wheel goes round. The wheel goes round.
Ostara Ostara The girl is found. The girl is found. Seeds are planted in the ground.
We cleanse ourselves and we burn it all down.
We start over. We start over. As the wheel goes round, the wheel goes round.
As we plant ourselves in the ground,
if you're feeling like a weed, take a look around.
'cause now we're. Seeds and we're spreading out.
We're taking over and it's starting now.
Better get on board.
Don't wanna be left out as the wheel goes round. This Ostara Ostara

Threshold of spring, I revel in this spell I cast,
As earth softens and I look both to the future and the past
I howl and clamber out of the mud and soil,
I follow the spiral, the serpent, the coil,
Sacred dirt, and sacred seed, I cast this spell for peace, for need
To all the wild, the witches, folks of this fringe,
Let us open this door, let us be the hinge.
A prayer a blessing for nourishment and ease,
I whisper my hope for us all, with love, to the spring breeze.

I call in the dark. Hark. Hear my siren song, hear my plea.
I thank thee for teaching me to grow fangs and claws.
I am a furry beast. Inspiring awe.
The monster fighting for her life in a world full of strife.
She isn't so bad. There's an artfulness to going mad.
I'm tired of playing meek for you, of hiding my freak of burying my rage.
And so now I let myself shriek.
No matter the cage, we can still sing.
And when we do, we are all kings.

Ostara is here. The flowers appear.
The anemone, rhododendron and tulips all cheer
while the goddess herself digs her hands in the earth,
Witches welcome Spring and make revolution.
Round the hearth.

Ostara Ostara …

as the day is equal to the night letter conjuring take flight.
Through this web of witches weaving and sewing in stitches
of light shining bright.
From the ashes of the old may
these visions unfold.
A new world foretold by dreams and seeings
of kind and wise beings.
We need you now.
We need us Now.
Activate

So a flight returns on winter's breath. A spark of life awakens from death.
The earth stirs gently seeds below
With Quiet Promise soon to grow.
Ostara’s flame, our hopes renew
New paths await bright, clear and true

on this Equinox I call to us Viriditas, Hildegard, and all our mothers intercede.
For us, it's the greenness that sustains and flourishes us.
Breath and growth and air and life and all our fruitfulness
feel verititas.
The light divine, it flows through us.
Light that shimmers and surrounds and overflows our cups.
Woe to you who would deprive us of inheritance.
Pruning weeds that you perceive as things no use to us.
Woe to you.
Devourer of land, the kings of wastefulness.
Ruining the plants and trees.
The earth is mourning us
on this Equinox.
I call to us Viriditas
Hildegard and all our mothers intercede

For us

No Is A Complete Sentence

We refuse
To be abused,
To bow
Or kow tow.

You want to go low,
To drag us below
The line we won’t cross.
It’s no loss.
We refuse.

We refuse
Propaganda’s muse.
Our eyes and ears close
To your views and your sounds
We refuse.

We refuse
To accept
All the debts you
Have dumped on our heads.
Your interest no longer compounds,
When our freedom abounds.
We refuse.

We refuse
To stay cloaked
To be choked
To be smoked
Out of existence.

We we will rise
From the ash,
Grow our resistance
From our persistence
And take back our perfection
Because we refuse.

Blesseded fucking be.

Bring the popcorn, bring the tea.
It's time for a poem.
It's what we need.
Bring the whiskey, bring the weed. Hear the story. Watch them bleed.
Purity culture dropouts
with our tits out
making everybody and their men folks stumble.
Like, Kamala, we ain't humble.
I saw your wife look at me.
Don't you know she has a yearning to be free.
Death and resurrection we embrace while those of stolen holy place,
we say absolutely fucking not
your words.
May they rot in the hell you crafted for witches.
Like we
by our power three times three times three.
So it is so mote it be.

Through winter's long, dark, we have rested and planned,
laid roots through the frozen and ice hardened land deeper than sorrow,
more vast than the cold.
We grew what was needed before we were told.
Now, let the ice melt, let the crust break and crack,
let the green push up through what was holding it back.
By the spread of these roots in all cardinal directions,
let the land rise in warmth and in fierce protection.
Cover the innocent, cover the child, cover the creature that runs in the wild.
Cover the marginalized cover the meek.
Let the roots find the ones who are too tired to seek.
Wave of green, meet the blue wave of green, come through what we buried in winter.
We now release not as force, but as nourishment, not war, but peace.
The great equalizer has weighted its turn the barrier, soften the seedlings return.
So we plant it so it grows. So it spreads so it knows

Violent ICE
I curse you, I break you
 Your power I splice
I stop you, forsake you Keep safe our neighbors
 I bless you, protect you
 Hale in your labors
I see you, connect you Threatening laws
I curse you, I break you
 Trans and queer clause
I stop you, forsake you Know you are holy
 I bless you, protect you
 We love you fully
I see you, connect you For those filled with rage I bless you, protect you Trapped and can’t turn the page I see you, connect you Lend out your strength; our need is most dire. Do what you can, hold us through the fire. As spring comes let us blow like the bellows Send hate tumbling back all over its fellows. Love will triumph, love will survive. ‘Til then let’s build worlds where all can thrive.

Now is the time, we’ve shed our old skin
As the ground begins to wake again

We call on the goddess and here is our plea
May we live in a world where everyone’s free

Is it too much to ask
They no longer wear masks
So that those who were blind can now see
Their destruction, their hate
This Cannot be our fate

But lately it feels I wake up with a scream
When all I was doing was trying to dream
Of a world beyond this heartless regime

A dream of abundance, higher love and of peace
I pray to her, know it’s not out of reach
As the spring winds blow in
Transform chaos to collective power

And Our community gardens may always flower
With joy and love, respect and care

By the planting of our seeds
Create a world where all are freed

And when the next chapter of our story’s told
A world of love’s what we’ll behold

everything is made up. Let's fuck it up.

Standing on the surface of a pedestal throughout time,
reclaiming my own purpose of those things I left behind.
Step into the wonder and through the looking glass.
I hope you feel my thunder as I bring you to my mass.
Kneel down at my altar, lean into my heart.
No, I'll never falter and find me in the art

This equinox, no paradox. It's as clear as the scars on my face, as clear as the path we will take chopped through the bramble of late stage anthropology. No apology. We've had it officially and we will be a herd of wildfire horses. Stampeding impeding any desire or ability to exploit us.
Oh, Lords of Death cult Industry, retire.
Play with your grandkids.
Leave the earth in the hands of those who care if you dare. To raw dog life without power and control. It makes things hard sometimes. But here's a thought, some things can't be bought. And what's so great about rationality anyway,?
it's a new day, it's a new time, a new paradigm,
and your wars and lores no longer apply because we fly.
In the UNchoreographed murmuration of care, (that IS what community means)
We are heard and will be heard.

Calling in the light of Ostara help us grow up and show up.
Become a force to behold and be held.
Our strength is in holding each other
Collapse into our arms. Sweet justice. You are safe here
we patrol on broomstick, junk tired and junk sick.
Meet surreality, eat kings like cake and ZAP. BANG. This spell kills greed. Like an EMP steals power.
The machines are useless now.
this Equinox, no paradox. It's as clear as the scars on my face, and similarly
our magic cannot be erased.
On the wall of eternity is a pentagram carved by a slow deliberate drip drop, drip drop, drip drop.
It won't stop. We won't stop till everyone's free and blessed fucking be

onions, tomatoes, peppers, and thyme. These seeds in the soil with light, they will climb echinacea, calendula, vervain, and borage over winter on the ground. Mother Earth's cold storage.

Ostara, Ostara….

They think we're scared.
Too scared to oppose them.
Too weak, too meek
To ever bulldoze them.
Too uneducated and unmotivated to rise up

Our streets are red
With the dripping blood
Of our citizens and residents
At the negligent and hateful hands
Of the government.

They spin lies
They twist the truth
Dress violence up as righteous proof

Let's not be deceived
They are the ones with blood on their hands

They made this a war, but we will not break.
We root, we rise, we bend—not shake.
They spill the blood, they bar the door—
They made this a war. We end it. No more.

They made this a war.
Over centuries of hate
They have brought us here
To where we are today.

They made this a war—remember their name.
We carry the truth. We carry the flame.

They made this a war
When they first came here
And murdered the people who were here before them.
They are the ones who kidnapped children and mutilated women.
They are the ones who cut the hair they had no business touching.
They believe that if you don't look and act like them,
That you 'deserve' brutality.

They made this a war—remember their name.
We carry the truth. We carry the flame.

They made this a war when they kidnapped them,
Brought them here for free labor,
Beat and starved and killed them.
Because they looked and acted different from them.

They made this a war when they still blame them for things that they didn't do.
Arresting, terrorizing, and murdering them for hundreds of years.

They made this a war—remember their name.
We carry the truth. We carry the flame.

They made this a war when they let her bleed out in a hospital.
The blood drips down her thighs.
As she cries the agonizing cries of a woman who doesn't want to die.
Why?
The baby's life was more important than the mothers.
In the end, they both die while doctors have their hands tied.

They made this a war when they forced women to have babies.

They made this a war when those babies are then shot at school because the guns are more important than the babies.

They made this a war when forcing those babies to be born means one of the parents can't work to pay for food or healthcare...but they took away free school lunches and breakfasts.
They took away affordable childcare and affordable healthcare.

They made this a war, but we will not break.
We root, we rise, we bend—not shake.
They spill the blood, they bar the door—
They made this a war. We end it. No more.

They made this a war when he kneeled on his neck and justified his death because of his addiction.

They made this a war—remember their name.
We carry the truth. We carry the flame.

They made this a war when they shot him for jogging in a neighborhood.

They made this a war—remember their name.
We carry the truth. We carry the flame.

They made this a war when they sent the ICE thugs to pick up anyone who 'looked' like they didn't belong.

They made this a war when they created Alligator Alcatraz.

They made this a war—remember their name.
We carry the truth. We carry the flame.

They made this a war when they shot her in the head for complying with the order they gave her...to leave. Then called her a fucking bitch.

They made this a war—remember their name.
We carry the truth. We carry the flame.

They made this a war when they shot him in the street.
They shoved a women to the ground.
He stood between them, and they pepper-sprayed him, beat him, and shot him 10 times.
And they justified it with lies that we can see with our own eyes.
He stood between a woman and government-sanctioned ICE thugs with a phone recording, and they beat and murdered him.
He never pulled his gun.
They shot him for trying to protect us.
Let that sink in.

They made this a war—remember their name.
We carry the truth. We carry the flame.

They made this a war
When they took him to a detention center
He's only 5

They made this a war, but we will not break.
We root, we rise, we bend—not shake.
They spill the blood, they bar the door—
They made this a war. We end it. No more.

They call us hateful and violent.
We aren't the ones with blood-stained hands.

Witches, it is time to rise.
Side by side.
Voice to voice.
One goal.
One fire.
One choice.

We must rise up
We must call on our own power
We must call on our deities and spirits.
It's time to call the ancestors.
It's time to call on the land spirits.
It's time to put spiritual differences aside.
To protect the world where we reside.

I call on Hecate, Athena, Brigid, Hestia, and The Mórrígan to join our fight.
To show up at this battlefield.

The battle is now. We are in a fight for our lives.
Our very existence is at stake
If we stand up to them
They feel the right to murder us.

The war isn't just against women or black and brown people.
The war is against anyone who isn't them.
The select few who are rich, powerful, and hateful.

They made this a war—remember their name.
We carry the truth. We carry the flame.

As the season changes from winter to spring
The ICE cracks and melts
Gives way to the warmth
So too shall the tides change and the frozen hateful cold melt under firey passion of the love for country, humanity, dignity, and life.

hey think we’re scared. They think we’ll quit.
They’ve never met a coven like this.
This is a battle we intend to win.
We're not just a witches
We are fucking bitches.

May we shed the wounds, the pains, the sorrows.
With eyes anew eyes may we now see
the bright souls we carry each.
So we may chant and Oh enjoy for the gift of meeting thee.

‘tis time, ‘tis time, we chant in rhyme

The world awakes, the flowers rise

and what do we see before our eyes?

Something gracious this way comes

with fingers dainty, nails all done

she opens locks and beckons hearts

frees them simply, from body they part

abusers never seen again,

gone, gone, throughout the realm.

‘tis time, ‘tis time, we chant in rhyme

Something wild this way comes

woven fates trailing from her thumbs

Spring arises from the dead

bones tied in her hair upon her head

click, clack, the moving loom

weft and warp will lift the gloom.

‘tis time, ‘tis time, we chant in rhyme

Something gracious this way comes

with fingers dainty, she makes them succumb

sweltered venom she pours for their fall

Snake Goddess’ gift to survivors all.

‘Tis time, ‘tis time, we chant in rhyme

to welcome Spring as Hekate’s child

gracious, light, eternally wild.

Ostara Ostara Ostara….
You must be a witch.
