We survive in joy and collective rage, and collective resourcing, and by hearing and seeing each other. We make art together, music, new feminist magical history and poetry. If you wonder what it is to be in a coven, for us that's at the beating, bleeding heart of the answer. We call each other forward, we call each other in.
This week on Missing Witches we published a collective creation, a winter's worth of work by the Weavers circle within the Missing Witches Coven. In Weaver's, each season we decide upon a seed of work, an invitation that draws new world-building out of us, and this season the theme was STORM HAGS: a weather front of raging deities from across cultures. Check it out:
Calling All Storm Hags, Cailleach, Witte Wieven, Horned Goddess, Antler Women, Elen of the Ways

A note on infrequency...
Attentive readers may have missed us in your inboxes recently. We have to admit, sometimes the weekly flow just slips through our fingers. Maybe it's the transition between seasons, we are snowy one day, ice rain the next, pushing beyond our banks. We're messy bodies: fighting infections, learning new instruments, riding hormones. We're not machines and neither are you, we love you as the messy bodies you are. And we trust, because we know you a little, you listen to this podcast or read these love letters: you get it.
Sober Magic
We are here though! There are new episodes of the podcast live now: listen to Risa in a personal and friendly conversation with the very dear, and kinda famous!, celebrity tarot reader and professional witch Sarah Potter.
We talk about the way an intense sensitivity, sometimes amplified and complicated by trauma, can give us kinds of sight and perception that a world constructed by late-stage capitalism isn't equipped to help us understand. And we talk about how so many of us numb and mask ourselves for a long time before we find our ways through the underworld and into right relation with our magic.

Ostara Poetry
On the wall of eternity is a pentagram carved by a slow deliberate drip drop.
Last week we also released our annual Ostara special, another collective creation, this one of poetry all written and performed by members of our coven. If you want audio that nourishes your wild, sharp toothed soul and calls back your power to you with a polyvocal reminder that you are not alone, baby this ones for you!
A full calendar of Coven Events
Behind the scenes, within our wildly delicious, welcoming coven circle of badass witch friends there are soooo many events going on all the time. If you joined the coven awhile ago, but life took you for a meander, please know: you can always slip back in, no muss no fuss, and find a world of magic bubbling like a fountain ready for you.
This week on the event calendar for all coven members we have:
Cozy Coven Craft night: Wonderful Whimsical Wands!
Writing Circle: Sharing and Workshop
Call Them In.
Wherever you are, however you are in your body mind, we invite you to join us in calling in the STORM HAGS. She is risen, they are with us, they're already here.
Call in the weather witches, the atmospheric archetypes, the protectors of children and women and all violated and oppressed and marginalized people.
Stand in the wind or the rain and ask them to be the wild at your back, be with the work of surviving, of anti-fascism, of resistance and re-enchantment, of re-indigenizing, of reparation.
On behalf of all your kin and relations, call in a tide that can hold us, give us the courage of shrieking wind, torrents, tsunamis.
Remember: we are weather. Though we may slip beneath the radar for awhile, we are always gathering and always together, always rising, never backing down.
This or better, for ever and ever. Blessed fucking be,
The Missing Witches
