Every day we feel the energy and strength of the Missing Witches coven growing!

We meet new-and-old-friends in episodes of the podcast; connect in the comments and in the chat, and celebrate new members joining each day.

We continue to learn and practice new ways of collaborating, facilitating, and directing our creative and intellectual energies as we build this multifaceted project together.

We name and invent reasons to come together to celebrate: remembrance, reverence, rummaging through scraps, resilience, resistance, and re-making ourselves in our own images.

p.s. Looking for some company during the U.S. midterms? Our online coven has a new coven wide chat room! On Nov 3rd, (afternoon/evening EST) we will be gathering through chat to share news and spells and reports and send sweetness down the wires etc as we wait to see how it will unfold. Join us!

New Season of the Missing Witches Podcast

The Fall 2026 Season of the Missing Witches podcast has hit airwaves and is packed with stories of magical resistance, past and present.

EP 308 MW Queen Idia - A Queendom Not Yet Assured

The mask of Queen Idea: a smooth face-shaped mask, made of cream coloured ivory, with one eye darkened around its eyelids. The background is black, and the ivory mask pops in the foreground.
The ivory mask of Queen Idia

In this episode, Risa tells a story about an ancient Queen Mother of the sixteenth-century Kingdom of Benin, in what’s now southern Nigeria. A story about her power and the power of all Mothers in all senses of the word: all progenitors of the future. The story migrates through the lore of Idia, her two-world seeing, her medicines, her power as counsel and ancestor, to the colonial theft of the masks, to the women's uprising in Nigeria of the 70s, to the Combahee River Collective, to the more-than-human beings who haunt the mask, calling for our care, calling our liberation further, calling every body home.

EP 309 WF Gaelynn Lea - A Little More Space for the Unknown

An image of Gaelynn Lea - a person with a long brown braid in their hair, adorned with blue and brown flowers. Gaelynn has en eyebrow piercing, holds a violin in their hands, and sits in their wheelchair on the docks in Duluth

Gaelynn Lea joins us on our witchy little podcast, and traces the links between her personal spirituality and her route to life as a composer, songwriter, and professional musician. Gaelynn describes asking herself: "what am I doing now and how does that create the next scene? And does the next scene get me any closer to the good, kind world that I wanna see?"

EP 310 WF Michelle Cassandra Johnson - I Call My Energy Back To Me Now

Buy you are protected today!

Michelle Cassandra Johnson's latest book You Are Protected is like a nervous system reset that truly made me believe that I am or can be protected. Amy T. and Michelle talk about burn out, energetic boundaries, the power of No, chickens and honeybees, Witchcraft as Activism, reclaiming sovereignty, chaos magic, creating spiritual connections, and casting a circle of protection.

EP 311 MW + WF: Daphna Romanoff and the Mountaingroves

Daphna, Ruth, and Jean

Risa and Amy T. keep lists and lists of Witchcrafters we want to do episodes about, and then we kind of wait to see who calls to us to share their stories NOW.  And sometimes it’s not the Witches calling, but the TIMES that cry out for reminders of what we’ve forgotten and what we need to know, or be reminded of. Now. SEVERAL of the people I know are dreaming of intentional communities, hippie communes with a feminist twist.  So if that’s your dream, I hope you’re listening...

Coven Events Spotlight

Remembering Our Beloved Dead: An All Saints (and Sinners) Event, Saturday November 7 2026, 7-8:30pm EST

Our physical altars are separate, but our roots remain intertwined.

You are warmly summoned to join a Covenwide ritual to remember, honor, and celebrate both our personal and collective beloved dead.

This event will be dedicated to remembering the loved ones, including our fur babies, we have lost. Please note that your losses do not have to be within this current calendar year, as we welcome the memory of any beloved you carry in your heart, no matter how much time has passed. Together, we will weave a digital web of memory, grief, and ancestral connection.

We are constructing a collective digital altar that will be shared live during the event and posted afterward as a sacred archive for our coven. Visit the event page for more details on how to submit your images and remembrances.

A little more magic, together

One of the things we're most interested in at Missing Witches is what happens when witchcraft stops being something we consume alone and becomes something we think about, question, practice, and make together.

The Coven is our living space for that.

There are conversations about magic and history, tarot and astrology, ritual and culture. There are co-learning sessions, seasonal gatherings, small groups, member-led conversations, and plenty of opportunities to wander down an unexpected rabbit hole with people who are delighted you brought it.

You don't have to know what you're doing before you arrive, you don't have to call yourself a witch. You just have to be curious enough to come through the door.

And we'll be there cheering, Welcome Home!

Blessed fucking be.
