This week we stood under the Buck Moon β named for the time when antlers push their way out into the world, sharp and velvet-soft, reaching toward the sky.
Itβs a moon of wildness, of instinct and shedding, of remembering what your body and soul know beyond social scripts and silent ceilings.
In our Weavers Full Moon Pathworking, we followed a thread into wild places and wilder selves. We asked: Where does your wildness live? What might it sound like if it spoke out loud?
In her poem The Summer Day, Mary Oliver asks:
Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?
This weekβs prescription:
Let something true out.
Be wild with your voice. Be bare with your body. Be bold with your longing.
π If you can, be alone with nothing between you and the moon.
π¬ Speak your wildest truth out loud β even if it shakes.
π― Read this spell-poem by Em Chaney under the moonlight, to charge your body and honour your orbit:
MOONFLASH
I try to get my Tits out every full Moon
to flash my celestial body at hers
Glowing right back
Charging them up for the month ahead
(Continued on the Missing Witches Zine.)
Then:
ππΎ Put on βWolves Donβt Live By the Rulesβ
Let the chorus sing into your bones, circle in your brain.
Repeat it to yourself.
Dance. Chant. Shake off the "shoulds".
Let your words wear no armour.
Let your body forget what it was taught to hide.
Let your love be a kind of howl.
Because in the wild world, the instinct to love is everywhere:
πͺΆ A bird brings food to a fledgling
π A whale sings to her calf
πΎ A root stretches toward water
π The tide returns
And in my world β in this year of chemo, scans, dread, and still-so-much-life β love showed up in every wild and wondrous form.
Like my father-in-law, rocking a Missing Witches tee, loving me the only way he knows how: with pride and stubborn support.
Like this coven.
Like all of you.
Iβm one week out from test results. So I just want to say: thank you. For carrying me. For shining. For holding the wild in your hearts.

Welcome to our chronically ill/neurodivergent/disabled cauldron! This will be a cauldron/circle ritual. Bring something (an item, a concept, an idea) to add and enhance our community, OR - bring something you wish to let go (internalized ableism, stigma, etc).
Let's create some disabled/neurodivergent/chronically ill magick and acknowledge that the revolution will be disabled, it will be intersectional, and it will be witchy AF.

Lammas Recording: Transmuting Trauma with Diandra Ford-Wing, Amy Miranda and Kristen Renaud
Monday, Jul 14, 1:30 PM - 02:30 PM EST Hosted by Amy T.
We've tipped past Litha and are coming to that halfway point between solstice and equinox. The LAST thing I want is for any of us to drag old wounds into the Autumn, letting bad stuff that happened stop us from making great stuff happen, so I put together this panel of folx to help us discover systems for transmuting trauma. We'll ask: How did you make your way through your pain, and find a way to transform that journey to feed your future?
π Upcoming: New Moon Ritual with Zoe Flowers
Join us for a powerful New Moon in Leo ritual with poet, healer, and ritualist Zoe Flowers. Together, weβll invoke sovereign power, radiant attraction, and divine protection using the planetary magic of the Sun and Jupiter. This ritual calls in joy, clarity, and fire β with herbs, crystals, intention, and ancestral offerings. Bring your boldest self and something sacred to charge on your altar.
π― Full details HERE. Coven mates attend free, as always.
See you in the dark moon,
Risa + Amy π€
